AA Stump Grinding Call (850) 454-9156

FAQ

Common Questions

If yours isn’t here, call (850) 454-9156 — we usually reply same day.

How long does stump grinding take?

Most residential stumps take under an hour. Large root systems or multiple stumps may take a half day. We’ll give you a time estimate when we come out.

What’s the difference between stump grinding and stump removal?

Stump grinding chips the stump 6–8 inches below grade — the roots stay but the visible stump is gone. Full stump removal pulls the root ball entirely, which is more invasive and typically costs more. For most jobs, grinding is the right call.

Do you haul away the wood chips and debris?

We spread the mulch over the cavity by default. If you want it removed, we can haul it out — just let us know when you call.

Can you grind stumps close to fences, buildings, or pavement?

Yes. We’re experienced working in tight spots. We assess access when we come out and use the right equipment for the situation.

Do you handle emergency tree removal after storms?

Yes. We respond same day on all emergency calls. If a tree is on your house, vehicle, or blocking access, call and tell us — we prioritize those jobs.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — fully licensed and insured. Certificates available on request. BBB accredited with an A+ rating.

Do you give free estimates?

Yes. Call (850) 454-9156 and we’ll schedule a free on-site estimate. We don’t price over the phone for tree jobs — access and condition matter.

What areas do you serve?

Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties — Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Navarre, Pace, Milton, Cantonment, and surrounding areas. Emergency calls taken throughout Northwest Florida.
